Shuttle Services

When in a rush to get to the hospital, you may forget one or two things for your kid. In some cases, the hospital stay may take longer than expected. The staff aims to ensure peace of mind to concentrate on the core need of your patient. At Arkansas Children's Hospital, we provide a patient family shuttle to get the necessities for your kid at Walmart. The shuttle is available on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with pick time being 1 p.m. For scheduling, you can call 501-364-7829, but this should be done 24 hours in advance.

Gift shop

The gift shop is stocked with children's gadgets, which help ensure that your child is comfortable and has a home-like experience. Some of the things you can find in the gift shop include toys, décor that can be customized for your child's room, gifts, accessories, and snacks. The team of employees in this shop can assemble a gift basket that can be delivered for free to the patient's room. There are two gift shops; the Pay Away and the Terri &Chuck Erwin. The Play Away gift shop is open from Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. and is located on the first floor near the hospital's main entrance. You can also make your order online or call S01-214-7162, where we can put up a gift basket for free delivery to your patient's room.

Terri &Chuck Erwin, on the other hand, is located on the first floor of Northwest's main entrance. It is, however, open on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can also make an online purchase or call on 479-725-6952 for a gift bag to be delivered for free to your patient.

Dining Services

There are several dining options at the hospital for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and healthy snacks. These services can be accessed at our several amenities. Among them is the Capitol Café which is open daily between 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 11 a.m to 2 a.m. The services that are offered are breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. It is located on the second floor at the Main Hospital. At the main hospital, there is also a Coffee shop located at Level 1. However, it only provides made-to-order food and opens between 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

At the Arkansas Children's Hospital Northwest, there is a Café opened Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m and 11 a.m to 7.30 p.m, and Saturday and Sunday between 9 a.m to 4 p.m. The services that can be accessed are breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. It's located at the Garden Level.
